Motion sickness- state of queasiness resulting from imbalance of ear-fluid, and can be triggered by conflict between physical motion and visual input, eg. travelling on sea, body is moving and ear-fluid moves, but eyes do not see movement; or motion in the visual surroundings, eg. watching a movie in the science centre amphitheatre while sitting still.
Always felt sick in cars and buses when I was young. But it suddenly dawned on me that the reason might not be motion sickness- instead you can even term it still sickness, sickness resulting from taking in stale unmoving air! Hah. Or maybe from the fact that the body is confined within the space of the means of transport, and with bound inactive limbs, circulation is bound to be poor, and hence one feels sick.
It has been the 5th lesson, i believe, with the little girl. Still haven't found a common ground, something that both of us are equally excited about, though she is now more responsive, and could express the dread of too-much-homework. Attentive, and a gentle creature. But reserved. Do i look intimidating? Remember i was one talkative imp, been singled out many times for 'talking too much and distracting her classmates'. How that has changed. Mmm, gotta try some games. Everyone likes some games at some point of time, especially for maths-she hates maths. Mmm, crossword, for english? And maybe some dialogue thing, with some intersting scenario, the way they teach german in achool.
Not feeling very creative... how...
