woohoo...! guess wad? we went to the... ZOO today! how lovely, tanning ourselves and smelling the dung!

but it was truly enjoyable, albeit exhausting... our poor legs faithfully carried us through the poorly planned trail while our eyes scanned painfully through the foliage for craftily-hidden animals. Not to mention the excellent company of 4 beautiful ladies that made everything double the fun!

notice how animals like the giraffe and ah-meng and elephant can move with amazing grace despite their size- leisurely and captivating. and how the attractions remain the same despite the passage of 10? years. How we've aged man. The Kids Animal World still there with the cutesy guinea pigs, ponies and mice; the boring and bored lion couple; the tired komodos; the sian-zi-pua orang-utan posing reluctantly for the camera. But saw new things like how the hairs of the polar bear move while the biggie takes a dive, all ready for a shampoo ad; that butterflies and moths glide really effortlessly like little dancers.
