being extravagant and reckless. what started out as just curiosity, to check the prices, ended up in examining each design and eventually buying a pair, of specs.

but am tired of TT pair, yux, so ugly. So. but learnt a couple things:
青光眼is not actually associated with myopic eyes inflicted with astig, as what j told me. Its a "medical" condition assoc with high blood pressure, that causes a build up of pressure in the eyeball, and its Glaucoma;
then theres cataract, the hardening or cloudening of the cornea(or lens?) that mostly occur in old pple due to old age.
then then then, the one which severely myopic pple are prone to, and the most scary one, that can cause instant blindness(!), is retinal detachment. Myopic pple are myopic cos one, the ligaments attached to the lens may be inflexible, resulting in poor adjustment of the lens during seeing. For short sightedness, the lens cannot thin properly, almost in the 'contracted' and fat state; or two, the eyeballs are slightly longish, instead of the normal roundish, so the image does not fall on the retina properly as it should, giving blurry images that we see. So, as the eyeball is not round, the retina does not rest very well on the back of the eyeball, to which the optic nerve is connected. Hence, aggressive body motions like long jumping or acrobatics will cause a shock that can dislodge the retina from the nerve, and then, bingo, you cant see. oh man, how's tt to feel. how bout if only one side comes off? no 3D seeing liao. makes me think twice about sneezing now... have to be gentler. the uncle said a possible cure is some laser technique that fuses the separated parts tg. J! HOW?? paranoid

hey my cactus is looking real good!
its a lotus-morph; no thorns, but plastiky leaves, slightly whitish. Dropped it once heavily, causing a good 10 leaf petals to fall off. and then, now there are three budding areas! three of them on the previous bruises, which from ugly brown scars, have developed into leaf fractals. 4 surrounding 2 small ones, the 2 closing on a tinier one. but the orientation is weird. initially, the area of new leaf growth was right in the centre top of the cactus so that it is facing the ky when upright. Now the buds are facing the sides, cos, well, they are growin from the sides. wonder if i can cut them and let them grow roots when they are bigger, so that i have 3 new plants.

worrying. has been doing out-of-the-blue things like buying lotsa and lotsa clothes, really alot, like the amount that used to be bought in 3 years. 5 mayb.
and has been saying weird things, things that make u prick up ur ears and sit straight and think later for hours, nagging u. whos buying it for u when i'm not ard?
