downed a stick of candy floss jus now, shiok. the first mouthfuls are astonishing, the soft wools melting into warm puddles of sweetness; subsequently, residue sugars stick sround the molars as you try to bite into them; the tongue feels raw from rubbing against those now-coarse-feeling wool to make them disappear. the energy, heat, satisfaction you get from ingesting those carbo, wow. And the colors! can see the different tinges of blue- lighter ones, bleached into almost white, are the dry parts; then moisture in the air and from your drool shade them into varying hues of blue. Had to spit a few lumps of stubborn sugar that refused to melt. yum.
How does CC come about?
you'll need sugar, coloring, the machine which has a hotplate to melt the sugar and tiny holes to spurt it out.
first, pour sugar and coloring into the centralized hotplate so that the mixture melts into a colored mess. The hotplate spins, so that threads of sugar are forced though the holes via sthg called centrifugal force. The hot threads are flung against the sides of the machine, the part which you must have noticed while waiting for ur CC- it looks like the CC just appear from air around mid-rim of a basin- and they cool in open air. They can be twirled around a stick, or squeezed into bags, to give the classic treat. The original namewas actuali Fairy Floss (FF!)

April is such a hot month- temperamental and uncooperative-so hot clouds are forced to huddle against each other and cool us down when they feel too burdened with the task. But things are coming alive, more noises than ever.
